Breed: Lab/Catahoula Mix
Male | Lab/Catahoula Mix | ~8-10 Years | ~65lbs
This gorgeous brindle boy is St Nick! When he’s feeling fancy he goes by Nicholas! St Nick is proof that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks as he is smart as a whip! His vocabulary is expanding every day but he definitely has “sit”, “come” & “cookie” mastered. He is crate trained, & he’d love if his new family could continue his leash work/management! He’s doing great so far. St Nick is the bestest boy, he’s potty trained & has never had an accident!
This fellow loves to SLEEP & SNUGGLE! You can find him snoozin in bed while his foster mama works in her office. When he’s feeling up for it - he enjoys playing with a toy or two! He even likes baths and car rides. His favorite treats are bananas, cheese, and noodles! He LOVES all food really - he even gets so excited when you scoop his food he will get a little vocal about it! He is missing his front teeth - but he manages to eat dry food and bones just fine! The cutest thing he does is suck on his blankie before falling asleep. Overall he is a super easy-going guy and is 100% love!
ST NICK’S DREAM HOME!
- St Nick is a loving dog that requires patience - he will need a family that understands he takes some time to fully trust new people! It took him a few weeks to fully settle into his current foster home.
- St Nick will also be completing his heartworm treatment and although this cost will be covered by the rescue he will need a family that is able to take him to his vet appointments. St Nick has no adversities towards men or women and can live in a home with children (older preferred). He’s a senior dog so his family must be prepared to take on any additional medical care/cost that comes with old age.
- St Nick can live with another calm dog companion- if any- as he likes his space when he’s settling in. After a few weeks, he has enjoyed spending more time with his foster doggy sister and sharing her bed. This poor guy has been through a lot in his life! We currently are advising against a home with cats.
My adoption fee is $125 and covers my vetting. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.
